Choking Lake Winnipeg is a documentary which discusses the problem of eutrophication in the Lake Winnipeg watershed. World class scientists are used by the film producers to not only define the problem, but to provide many useful solutions. We provide a not-for-profit resource that is available for all educators. This section of the website has been designed specifically for use in the classroom and other educational forums. Short clips have been produced out of the larger documentary and developed into 15 lectures. Along with the short instructive clip, each lecture is supplemented by suggested investigative and discussion questions along with important term definitions. These questions and definitions are of a general nature as the website is set up to facilitate learning in a wide variety of situations. The website does not support any set curriculum so it is up to the instructor to ensure their individual curriculum is being covered.
